Following the National Biomechanics Day (NBD) in 2021, the Taiwan Biomechanics Society held the first NBD event this year at Chang Gung University on March 25!
Thirty-five students from Taipei Municipal Chengyuan High School participated in various sessions about the research and application of biomechanics in rehabilitation, muscle strength training, and baseball pitching through interactive activities.
We would like to thank the organizer, Chih-Hsiu Cheng, the Department Chair and Po-Tsun Chen, Associate Professor from the School of Physical Therapy, and the substantial support from Ting-Ting Yeh, Assistant Professor of Master Degree Program in Health and Long-term Care Industry.
National Biomechanics Day is a worldwide celebration of Biomechanics in its many forms for high school students and teachers in early April every year. Taiwanese Society of Biomechanics will continue cooperating with the NBD organization to promote biomechanics.
