Following the successful conclusion of the National Biomechanics Day (NBD) held at Chang Gung University in March, the Taiwan Biomechanics Society held its second NBD event in 2022 at National Taitung Girls' Senior High School from July 15th to 17th!
Associate Professor Shu-Wei Chang from the Department of Civil Engineering National Taiwan University and Assistant Professor Chia-Ching Chou from the Institute of Applied Mechanics at the National Taiwan University, through board games, virtual reality, and molecular simulation activities, inspire 22 students from Taitung Girls' Senior High School and Taipei First Girls High School to learn more about the biomechanics of proteins and its application related to our daily living.
National Biomechanics Day is a worldwide celebration of Biomechanics in its many forms for high school students and teachers in early April every year. Taiwanese Society of Biomechanics will continue cooperating with the NBD organization to promote biomechanics.
